4. Adverts appearing on the SigBizInfo owned sites may be as a result of adverts served by SigBizInfo owned servers or adverts served up by a third party server. Privacy policies of 3rd party advertising service providers are examined by SigBizInfo and approved before the organisation is used.

The software used automatically creates cookies for pages visited. Scripts may also set cookies. The cookies may be used in aggregate form for the collation of statistics on visitors and site usage. We have observed that IE6 often incorrectly reports on the privacy policy of suppliers of banners adverts and traffic counting services to SigBizInfo stating the providers do not have adequate privacy polices when in fact they do. We believe this is because the software is to stupid to backup up from the sub-domains used to the main domain in order to locate the privacy policy. The matter has been reported to Microsoft.

Security

This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. The site is also subject to regular security audit.
